- SC Bananarama Graham*PL, JW at the show in Bia³ystok obtained her tenth Best In Variety title within two years, therefore she won honorary FIFe title Distinguished Variety Merit !!! This is the first DVM title for British cat in Poland.

Mosonmagyarovar 12/13 XII 2009
Mosonmagyarovar show (Hungary) was our last in 2009.
Our Good Omen obtained two CAGCIB certificates (won in competition), Best In Variety title and Best In Show nomination.
Gelting 05/06 XII 2009
Gelting is a small town in the north of Germany, in the vicinity of Dannish border. The show held there had Christmas climate. Good Omen received two last CACIB certficates. Unity won BIV title.
During the show, Special British Show was held. Roxane received nomination to finals in junior category.
The organizers have made us a nice surprise, granting small gifts to the British cats who made the longest way to get to the show (...and that were us :)
Warszawa 28/29 XI 2009
Good Omen obtained third CAC certificate thus gaining Champion title. She was also nominated to BIS. Also Roxane was nominated - both days. As before, both days she won Best In Variety title. Good Omen`s mother - Unity - was nominated to BIS on Sunday.
Poznań 21/22 XI 2009
The show in Poznan was a debut of our Good Omen in the open class. She obtained two CAC certificates and was nominated to BIS twice. Also Roxane was nominated both days. Moreover, both days she won Best In Variety title.
Neuhausen am Rheinfall 07/08 XI 2009
This little town in Switzerland is well known for the Rhine Falls, a tourist attraction and mainland Europe`s largest waterfall, coming in at 25 meters tall and 150 meters wide.
At the show, our Roxane won Best In Variety title and BIS nomination. Good Omen was nominated twice.

Stuttgart 31 X / 01 XI 2009
Stuttgart show was one of the events of Animal Fair held every year, during which animal fanciers of different species and producers of animal accessories can meet and talk. Apart from cats one could watch wild birds, poultry, rabbit agility contests, dog football, synchronic horse riding shows and many other attractions.
At the show, our Roxane won Best In Variety title.
The first known settlement of Stuttgart was around the end of the 1st century AD with the establishment of a Roman fort on the banks of the river Neckar. During World War II, the centre of Stuttgart was nearly completely destroyed in allied air raids. Some of the historical buildings have been reconstructed.
Since 1999, between end of October and beginning of January, at the Castle Square a market called "Winter Dream" (Wintertraum) is held. One can taste local food there, warm oneself up with gluhwein or ... skate.
Budapest 17/18 X 2009
The show in Budapest was - thanks to our Hungarian friends - as always very nice. Roxane was nominated to Best In Show on Saturday, and Good Omen - both days.
Tulln 03/04 X 2009
In Tulln we have shown Roxane, Good Omen and Unity. Our little "squirrel" was nominated to Best In Show both days.
In Sunday, Good Omen won BIS competition, gaining Best Young Cat III title. It is her third won show in 3-10 months categories.
Lulea 12/13 IX 2009
The show in Lulea was only an excuse to spend our holidays in Sweden, see the country and meet our friends. We started our journey on a ferry from Gdansk to Nynasham.
Upon arrival, we were charmed by magnificent views.
On our way to Lulea we drive through The High Coast Bridge. It is modelled on San Francisco famous Golden Gate bridge. The suspension bridge across the Angermanälven river is one of the tallest construction in Sweden so far, and its pylons reach 180 metres over the surface of the water.
Our first night in Sweden we spent in Sundsvall. It is the biggest commercial centre for the north of the country. Sundsvall was chartered in 1621. The city has burned down and been rebuilt four times. The last fire, in 1888, was the largest in Sweden`s history. After that fire, the city centre was rebuilt only with stone buildings.
Next stop - Umea. It is a center of education, technical and medical research in Sweden, with two universities and over 30,000 students.
We stopped in Skelleftea following advises from our guidebook - to see the church town and the longest open wooden bridge in Sweden. We will write about church town concept later - in Gammelstad section.
Finally we reached our destination. Lulea is an important industrial city in northern Sweden.The harbour of Lulea is of particular significance for iron ore transport from mines in Kiruna and Gällivare.
Approximately 100 km from Lulea you can find river rapids - the biggest in Scandinavia and one of the biggest in the whole Europe. The rapids stretch out over a distance of 5 km in which the riverbed is lowered by 82 meters. Flow usually is highest at midsummer: 870 m3/s.
Taking into account distances in northern Scandinavia, Rovaniemi is "only" about 250 km from Lulea. This Finnish town behind Polar Circle is the official capital of Santa Claus.
There were around 300 cats at the show. We were only exhibitors outside of Scandinavia :) On Sunday, Angelika Kneifel qualified our Good Omen to the BIS. She lost BIS title to the beautiful bengal cat.
Last day of our stay in Sweden started from visit in Jokkomokk. This town - behind Polar Circle - is the cultural capital of Lappland (or Saami country) with the only Lappish university, cultivating Saami language and traditions, including reindeer breeding. Jokkmokk church resembles Snow Queen castle :).
On our way back from Jokkmokk we stopped in Boden. The fortress in Boden was built to defense northern Sweden against possible Russian attack. Although its existence was kept in secret, Russian intelligence learned about it at the beginning of XX century only. After WW II it was the place securing Swedish gold reserves. After the Cold War, in 1998 the fortress lost its strategic defence functions and was converted into museum. In Boden you can also find small church town...
Gammelstad near Lulea is the best-preserved example of a `church village`, a unique kind of village formerly found throughout northern Scandinavia. The 424 wooden houses, huddled round the early 15th-century stone church, were used only on Sundays and at religious festivals to house worshippers from the surrounding countryside who could not return home the same day because of the distance and difficult travelling conditions. In 1996, Unesco added Gammelstad Church Town to its list of heritage objects worldwide that are deemed irreplaceable to mankind.
On our way back to Nynasham we stopped in Skuleskogen National Park.
Our last stop in Sweden - Uppsala. This is scientific capital of Sweden (with the oldest Swedish university), often described as "Swedish Oxford". There is also the biggest gothic cathedral where many Swedish kings and queens where coronated and/or buried.
We came back to Gdanski a bit tired but very satisified. The weather was very good - we could see Rozewie cape, Gdynia and Sopot.

Roskilde 08/09 VIII 2009
In August - again - we went to the show in Denmark. Good weather encouraged us to visit Copenhagen.
This time the show was held in Roskilde - historical town near Copenhagen.
It was the first show for our cream girl Roxane. She and Good Omen were nominated to Best In Show.
Gdańsk 04/05 VII 2009
Gdansk show was full of suspense. Good Omen was nominated to Best In Show twice, and both times she missed just one vote to win.
Ostróda 20/21 VI 2009
It was the first cat show in Ostroda (Mazury Lakes region). At the show, Good Omen was nominated to Best In Show.
Bratislava 13/14 VI 2009
Good weather in Bratislava allowed for a short walk around Old Town.
Las Vegas obtained last CACS/CACE certificate, thus completing Supreme (European) Champion title. He was also nominated to Best In Show.
Good Omen was also nominated to Best In Show and she won Best Kitten cat. III title !!!
Erkner 23/24 V 2009
Erkner is a small town in the outskirts of Berlin. We stayed in the nearby village - in a guesthouse by very picturesque lake.
Our little Good Omen was nominated to Best In Show and she won Best Kitten cat III title.
Velika Gorica 16/17 V 2009
Croatia welcomed us with beautiful, sunny weather. At small but nice show Las Vegas obtained another two CACS certificates and was qualified to Best In Show for two days.
Subotica 18/19 IV 2009
It was our first trip to Serbia. Now we know that definitely we will come back there some day...
It was a debut for our red girl Good Omen. Las Vegas obtained another two CACS certificates. Both cats qualified to Best In Show.
There was also special red & cream cats show held. Among almost twenty participants, Good Omen took third, and Las Vegas - fourth position in the contest.

At the show in Zabok (Croatia), Las Vegas obtained first two CACS certificates to the Supreme Champion title.
Warszawa 14/15 II 2009
In SuperKot 2008 competition, Bananarama took the second position in adult females category and Barfly - also second position in neutered females. At the show, Bananarama won Best In Variety titles and was nominated to the Best In Show, where she obtained Best In Show Opposite Sex category III title.
Ebreichsdorf 31 I/01 II 2009
During Ebreichsdorf show, Mister Austria 2008 winner cats were awarded. Bananarama was the winner in foreign adult females category and Barfly - in foreign neutered females.
At the show, both Bananarama and Las Vegas won Best In Variety titles and were nominated to the Best In Show. Barfly won Best Neuter Opposite Sex category III title twice.
